That programme was ESSENTIAL viewing during my childhood. I had toy Eagles all over the place! And a big crush on "Maya"

Still hoping, nay demanding, that they open up the moon surface for us to play on.

Yeah, for me those days of competing on the leaderboard are long gone.

Now I just wait for the "time registration" to close, then go in a do a barely-gold lap and take the rewards, thankingyoukindlysir.

And Vettel Challenges are much easier this time, aren't them? I abused on shortcuts hehehe

Yes they are, actually maybe too easy.

I finished ahead of Vettel on Monza, and also beat the gold time by about a second on Nurburgring and almost two seconds on Suzuka.

Compared to GT5... very easy indeed. But I ain't complaining.

And yes, the Red Bull Junior does sounds rather tasty.  8)

I guess it's more quiet than before because trading feature has been taken from GT6.

In a nutshell, this.

I think we (as GT players) shot ourselves in the foot during GT5's early days, abusing the trading/gifting system, then PD brought in the CR limit for tradable cars and also the "One car per day" rule, as they reaiised the game's lifespan was being compromised by people aiming to collect every car asap.

This forum was essentially born from the trading days, you only have to look at the old old posts and it's clear to see that that was the hayday, the golden age.

Take away the trading, well now all we can do is shoot the breeze.

GT6 isn't difficult at all, in all honesty I will be getting platinum within a week or two, and that's playing the game VERY casually, nowhere near the amount of time spent on GT5.

I'd say GT6 has been a step forward technically, but the gameplay longevity is still far from 100%.

Ah well. Roll on GT7.

Not sure any of you guys over the pond will now about "The Inbetweeners", but that music will be forever inbedded in UK culture for this film scene alone.

Same trophy, but slightly more in-depth explanation:

It could be anything from an "Ayrton Senna" to a "Bobby Moore" maybe as high as a "Macaroni" but whatever it costs, you're prob only gonna do it once, so spend it and you'll have a great video to remember it with.

(Now everyone is googling what those monetary values are, lol)   ;)

Enjoy buddy, and see if they give you the option of saving the incar recording like I did with my single-seater at Silverstone. I think it costs a few quid more but it's worth doing.  8)

The endurances weren't an issue for me, the insane Vettel X1 races were my major bugbear.

Not getting much time to play this at the moment, but I will batter it between Xmas and NYE.

Thanks for the maths Outeke, it's crazy ain't it?!

I'm not collecting in GT6, been there and done that with GT5. I'm just playing the game for what it is, no desire to own everything.

BTW, some people already got Platinum for this... so either the game is stupidly easy compared to GT5, or there's been some cheating/hacking going on.

Given that 7mCR costs 39.99 in the GT Store, you're effectively stealing almost 120 from Sony/PD so I think there may well be consequences for anyone caught using this method.

As said, use at your own peril.   :o

The easies money grinding is through a little glitch.
We're not called GT6Cheats.com for nothing right?

Take any car (doesn't need to be fast) but a X-Bow drives perfect for this glitch.
What do you need to do:
International A - Ascari track - 43k pricemoney.
After start race, instantly bend left, pass the barrier on the right side and drive to the road on the other side.
You get respawned on the start-finish straight.
Drive backwards, crosse the start-finish line (backwards) a few meters and go forward again, cross the start-finish line OFF the tarmac on the left side. (pass it on the grass)
Again, go left, pass the barrier and re-do above steps as often as laps are needed.
You will be granded with a 43k price for approx. 45 seconds ;)
Ascari track is also available on S challenges, which will give approx 133k for 2 minutes.
Youtube if you can't figure this out
