How to win the last nascar race
« on: Jan 18, 2011, 01:31 am »

Can somebody tell me how to win the last nascar race, my car seems to lack speed and all the AI drivers are pretty agressive and bump you right off the track after which there is no chance of getting back in the race

Hi,
I had the same problem, until.  I changed oil and rebuilt the engine and chassis.  Lots more power.

I think its best to wait until the last lap keeping in 2nd, then, pull ahead by drafting and run the rest of your lap watching you rearview mirror so noone passes you. Its takes a couple tries.

Try to prevent them from slip on your car stream.
If you go out of the default drive-line you can pull away from them without any problem.

Hi,
Even with the additionaly power, I was only able to get up to 7th place.

Please let me know how much down-force to use? default?

Let me know how to set the transmission?

Any other adjustments?

Thanks

Turn all the driving assists off and set the gearing for 224 mph (360kph), keep the aero as default.

Keep close to the yellow line all the race when you've taken the lead, or stay behind the leader and slipstream overtake him on the final lap.

Because Nascar cars are very closely matched in design and power, it's all about the driver and tactics.
