World Compact Car Race Seasonal Event
« on: Aug 25, 2011, 10:28 pm »

Hi,
I read the post about the "La Festa Chavallino" seasonal event and have currently switched to that because it is more of a challange and has the prospect of getting me a bit more money, but as I read some of you are tired of it I decided to post this so you have a change of scenery.  :P

In my experience the car of choice on the world compact car race is the Lotus Elise 111R bought at the Car Dealers.
Have it weigh around 950 kilograms and have aproximately 200 hp or play with the figures.
Mine was altready fully tuned and i had to add the maximum ammount of ballast and then decrease the power to 197hp.
Your PP limit is 450 so i found this was an accidental ideal power/weight ratio.

Also added all the aero parts.

If you do it right you can get the last one: Tokyo Bay Kart challenge in under 3 minutes even with the very short startup film and finish stuff combined.

I calculated that it makes a little less money then the "La Festa Chavallino" race but its not that much especially if you guys do better by as much as you do at the La Sarthe race.

Thanks for posting that Trev, both those events are great for getting XP+CR, I hammered them both regularly and they got me enough to get L40 A-spec and also every car in the game... hooray for triple payouts!   ;D ;D ;D

I actually preferred to use the RM'd Cappucino for the World Compact Car Series... tuned to the max!   8)

Takes a lot of getting used to the Chino..  I would definately recommend the Elise 111R
But i see the possibilities with the Chino too

Lol, yeah that's correct... the RM version of the Cappucino is a cracking little track car for small twisty circuits!   ;D
