We are excited to announce the launch of a great new competition that requires nothing more complicated than playing
the TimeTrials in GT5 with a chance to
win some great prizes!

Rules of Entry:

All you have to do to register is put your name and your PSN ID in this thread.

Registration closes Midnight of 21st March 2012

Once registration is closed, a PSN friend request will be sent from the competition account. You need to accept this request and remain "friends" during the length of the competition for your times to show up on our leaderboard.

There is a limit of 100 people that can register for this competition, due to PSN/PS3 limitations.

Round 1 starts with the TimeTrial that begins 22nd March 2012

You must play both of the TimeTrials (not drift trials) that appear in the Online Challenges section of GT5, new ones are released approx every 2 weeks. Both races' results will be counted.

The Series will last for 10 "events", with each "event" consisting of the 2 TimeTrials released every 2 weeks.


Points Scoring & Prizes:

Once each TimeTrial finishes, the Top 3 times for each particular TT will be awarded a Year/Level ticket of their choosing.

Points are only awarded to the Top 10 positions in each Time Trial, as follows: 1st=10, 2nd=9, 3rd=8, 4th=7, 5th=6, 6th=5, 7th=4, 8th=3, 9th=2, 10th=1

A "running score" leaderboard will be kept updated and displayed in this forum.

At the end of the 10 TimeTrial Series, the following prizes wil be awarded according to final places in the points Leaderboard:

1st  : $55 PSN credit
2nd : $30 PSN credit
3rd : $15 PSN credit

Places 4th - 10th will receive "In-game" prizes along the lines of cars/tickets, etc.

In the event of any "tied" positions in the final points leaderboard, those positions will be further separated by counting the number of 1st places that those positions had achieved during the whole contest. If further separation is required, then 2nd places will be counted, and so on until a separation is achieved.
