Stealth cars - ?
« on: Mar 05, 2012, 06:56 am »

I was reading some really old topics and came across the stealtth cars and was noted that you could only get these in the special editions of gt5.

These stealth cars look a lot alike the ones in gt4 that you could get from the UCD. Is it not possible to get these cars that way in gt5? or do you really have to have a special edition?

PS I didnt want to resurrect an old thread so I started this one

They look similar but are not the same.

The Stealth (and Chromelines) were created as an incentive to buy/pre-order the special editions.

Sometimes code vouchers appear on ebay... but not cheap.

That's the only way of getting those cars... they don't appear in the game to buy and they are not tradeable in-game.

The benefits of the Stealth, apart from looks, is some tuning and the fact that chassis rebuild & engine rebuild only cost you 500CR, instead of the crazy amounts of normal top-end cars, between 250kCR - 500kCR.

Well... The codes would have expired since it has been over a Year since the games release :(

No, some are still valid...

This ebay seller is very reputable, I got my stealth & chromelines from him last year, although the price now is much more than I paid back then...!   :o

The stealth / chromeline codes that you get in GT5 Signature Edition expire on 31/12/2012.

The chromeline code from GT5 Collector's Edition (US) expires on 31/12/2013
